Julia Russell (Angelina Jolie) can show a man passion unlike any he's ever known. He will risk everything to be near her. When Luis (Antonio Banderas) takes Julia as his wife, he thinks life is complete.
But, when Julia disappears with his money, Luis is forced to look into Julia's past. Sex and love turn into rage and revenge. In a rage and out for revenge, Luis embarks on an odyssey into Julia's world. Eventually, obsession leads to a shocking climax, and Luis and Julia are forced to suffer the consequences.

Chris Cole (MARK WAHLBERG) was born to rock. His longtime girlfriend Emily (JENNIFER ANISTON) believes Chris's talent could take him all the way- but instead of writing his own music, Chris worships at the altar of Bobby Beers, the fiery frontman for Steel Dragon, the heavy metal rock legends.
By day, Chris still lives at home with his parents and spends his days repairing copy machines. But when Chris takes the stage, all of that disappears.
